MA Primary Election Coverage
On Tuesday, September 4th, Massachusetts voters will go to the polls to determine who will run in the November general election for a number of very important federal and state positions. SCATV has the following programming in August to help educate and inform voters as they get to know the candidates and their positions.
7th Congressional District Debate presented by WBUR
Tuesdays at 6:00 pm & Fridays at 7:00 pm
By special arrangement with WBUR 90.9 FM, SCATV is able to cablecast the Massachusetts’ 7th Congressional District Debate held at UMass Boston between incumbent Rep. Mike Capuano, and his challenger, Boston City Councilor Ayanna Pressley.
Middlesex Country District Attorney Election Debate 2018 presented by ACMi
Thursdays in August at 7:00 pm & SCATV On Demand
Do you know who is the most powerful person in the Massachusetts criminal legal system? According to the Massachusetts ACLU, it’s your local District Attorney. Our colleagues at ACMi, produced the debate between the candidates for Middlesex County District Attorney this fall – incumbent Marian Ryan and challenger Donna Patalano.

SMC Comedy Showcase
Sundays at 10pm and Fridays at 9pm The SMC Comedy Showcase highlights the best comedians from the Boston area! Featuring: Jordan Wold, Ashley Sengstaken, Diana Lu, Stirling Smith, Pamela Ross, Jamal Russell and Reece Cotton! A huge shoutout to our intern Emily Walborn for producing this entire production and to our other wonderful interns for crewing!
