We’ve completed another orbit around the sun! This means it’s time for another SMC annual membership meeting and member board elections!
For those looking to “give back” to the community media movement, Somerville Media Center Board of Directors has an opening for a Member Representative. Along with being a member in good standing, you are expected to be committed to supporting the organization (attending meeting, events, and activities), and contributing your skills and talents to the active service and governance of Massachusetts’ oldest community media center as it navigates its role as a valued and viable community resource.
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT: The nomination period is open through Thursday, February 20 at midnight.
VOTING: This will take place on Saturday, February 29th (more info below).

This years’ annual meeting is slated for: Saturday, February 29 from 10am – 12noon at Somerville Media Center. We’ll have a continental breakfast prior to kicking off the meeting at 10am. This will also be an opportunity to meet the new officers of the SMC board and to cast your vote for a new Member Rep. For Board Member responsibilities please visit online here:
